TOUR GUIDE AND TRAVEL JOURNALIST

I am a member of the British Guild of Tourist Guides and Institute of Tourist Guiding. Both organisations have strict codes of professional standards and conduct. I have full public liability insurance.

My name is Fred Mawer and I'm a professional Blue Badge-qualified tour guide.

I am fortunate to live in Bath, an historic and beautiful little city in the South West of England. I specialise in taking visitors on guided tours of Bath, and across the South West.

The Blue Badge is the UK's highest guiding qualification, and recognised internationally as a benchmark of excellence. To be awarded the badge you have to pass rigorous exams that test your knowledge and guiding skills. In the year I qualified, I was honoured to be given the highest overall marks.

I guide private and group walking tours, coach tours and private, chauffeur-driven tours. Tours can be for a couple of hours, a half or whole day, or over several days.
